History
KAG Logistics is the petroleum supply chain solutions subsidiary of the Kenan Advantage Group (KAG), the nation’s flagship petroleum and niche’ chemicals carrier. As KAG invested millions of dollars in technology and process refinement over the past few years to improve its own internal operating capabilities and efficiencies, it became readily apparent the industry’s overall last-mile supply chain also needed a similar platform for more efficient execution. KAG Logistics was formed to provide these services to our industry.
Until now, last-mile supply chain options have been limited to exclusive customer in-house operations or through the partial use of software providers and/or petroleum transport companies. KAG Logistics, through its array of solutions, now offers customers the ability to outsource the entire process to one entity.
Based in Canton, Ohio, KAG Logistics is currently focusing on four main market segments:
- Petroleum Marketers – Jobbers, convenience store operators, truck stops, etc.
- Fuel End-Users – Large transportation organizations such as truckload, LTL, overnight carriers, railroads, and distribution companies.
- Ethanol - Producers, marketers, and end-users of alternate fuels.
- Private Fleet Operators – Private fleet solutions options for better management and execution of proprietary fleets.
